Professional Supervision

Providing high quality supervision to individual, group, and/or organizational staff seeking to improve their counseling and psychotherapy skills in an effort to improve client experience and outcomes.

Continued growth

Professional supervision is the process of training providers to develop the skills needed to ensure ethical practices and delivery of quality services to clients. Supervision at Pioneer Valley Behavioral Health is supportive, educational, and administrative. Self care, evidence-based practices, documentation as well as interfacing with agencies and/or collaterals are interwoven into a quality experience that will build the confidence and competencies of the supervisee.

How can it help?

Presently, our supervisors are licensed at the LICSW level. An LICSW accredited supervisor can provide quality supervision to candidates pursuing any of the following credentials

Our hope

At Pioneer Valley Behavioral Health, our staff are well versed in both counseling and psychotherapy approaches. Pioneer Valley Behavioral Health professionals have been educated and trained in a wide scope of evidence-based practices to include cognitive behavioral therapies, creative and expressive therapies, family therapy, grief focused interventions, motivational interviewing, narrative approaches, solution focused approaches, and trauma-specific interventions.  These interventions can be a support to children, adolescents, adults, couples and/or families as they cope with any of the aforementioned conditions. We hope to decrease your symptoms, improve your coping skills, and ultimately enhance your wellbeing so you can live a better life.
