What is Behavioral Health?

Behavioral health is a broad term that encompasses mental health, substance use, lifestyle choices, behavioral patterns and interpersonal relationships. Essentially, behavioral health refers to the connection between one’s behavior and their mental, physical and socioemotional health.

What is Mental Health?

Mental health constitutes one’s emotional, psychological, and social well-being. Mental health can impact how one thinks, feels, and acts. Mental health can also play a role in how one handles stress and relates to other people.

How long is counseling / psychotherapy?

This can be discussed and tailored to meet your needs. Individual sessions can range from 38 – 53 minutes. In our first meeting, we will identify your needs. We will collaborate on an a time frame for your treatment goals. You may decide that weekly sessions will be a suitable frequency to help you meet your goals.

Do you offer in person counseling or psychotherapy?

At this time, services are Telehealth / Virtual  only, which means you can access services from the comfort of your own home or office.

Do you offer virtual services to people who live outside of Massachusetts?

At this time, services are only available in Massachusetts. Moreover, clients need to be located in Massachusetts during their session. If and when services become available in other states, our website will be updated.

Can anyone receive supervision?

Supervision services are limited to behavioral health staff who hold, or seek to hold, one of the following licensure / certifications – LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, LADC-II, LADC-I, CADC-I, CADC-II
